Dustin allman, Pastor

Dustin joined The Fort as full-time pastor just over six years ago, and God has blessed the ministry in the most astounding ways.  The church was a few short months from shutting the doors and disbanding. God has mercifully breathed new life into the new ministry!

Dustin is on the Executive Team for the Sullivan Baptist Association and serves on the Board for The Salvation Army and Young Life. He proudly serves as FCA coach/chaplain for the football team at Sullivan North High School in Kingsport. An avid reader and writer, he has also written articles for nationally distributed magazines and publications.

Dustin studied Bible & Theology at Liberty University with additional work at Dallas Theological Seminary & Carson Newman. He previously served on ministry staffs in Charlottesville, VA and Burlington, NC.

His passion is to see “an authentic Gospel community empowered and deployed to
serve towards city renewal, life transformation and Kingdom multiplication for the next generation.”

Dustin’s deepest roots are in North Carolina…but he doesn’t hesitate to call East Tennessee home. He is married to his middle school crush, Amanda, and together they have adopted two sons  -- Wrigley & Ryman. Both are under the age of 3 so he drinks a lot of coffee throughout the day!  He enjoys books, working out, and watching sports (particularly the North Carolina Tar Heels & Chicago Cubs) and any televised football game.
